Join us for a 2-session workshop in Bend, OR! Learn how to keep a nature journal using various mediums and approaches. Create with confidence as you capture the world around you!
Friday, Sept 26th, 5:30- 7:30pm
Saturday, Sept 27th, 9am- 12pm
Nature journaling is a personal practice of slowing down, observing the world around you, connecting with nature and capturing your unique perspective: draw, paint, and sketch plants, animals, rocks, found objects, landscapes, clouds, weather, and even sounds!
Explore the basics of nature journaling using your preferred medium whether it’s watercolor, colored pencils, or ink. While we won’t try to master every medium, you’ll gain a foundational understanding of different tools to help you discover what you enjoy.
We'll gather in the Sagebrushers Art Society Studio to learn the basics of nature journaling. We'll cover tools, techniques, approaches, and have plenty of time to practice and do a hands-on trial run in the garden.
We'll gather in the great outdoors in Old Mill where we'll practice journaling in nature, followed by group sharing and Q&A.
