FAQs

What kind of online course is this?

This is a self-paced course, meaning there are no live elements. Each lesson features a video to introduce the concept and model the skill, and a worksheet to practice. Students can go through these video lessons at their own pace.

What supplies do I need to get started?

  • An open mind and willing attitude
  • A black pen of your choice
  • Paper (loose or notebook)
  • Printer to print out the worksheets. This is not required, but it does make practicing easier. If you don't have a printer, you can use the worksheets on your ipad or practice on your own paper.
I share links to my favorite tools in the course companion PDF.

Do I need a printer?

The PDF worksheets are intended to be printed so you can practice right on the pages. If you don't have a printer, you can take it to a print or copy shop for printing, or follow along in your own sketchbook while viewing the PDF on a computer. Tablet or iPad use and functionality is not guaranteed.
